The Challenge

Create a series of short comic poems with varied themes, while maintaining visual and tonal consistency across the collection.

Approach

Worked across a flexible, collaborative process—sometimes adapting full scripts, other times translating poems into sequential layouts.

Explored varied compositions and page structures in each piece, using layout and pacing to support the tone and meaning of the writing.

Expanded the series into a collected edition, adding a new exclusive comic and designing the cover and interior system to unify the work.

The Result

Produced a cohesive collection of comic poems that balances thoughtful themes with playful visual storytelling. The book became my best-selling comic, demonstrating strong audience engagement and repeatability as a format.
