For Inktober, I challenged myself to modernize classic horror monsters with a hipster twist.
Using construction paper, limited bold paints, and crisp linework, these pop-art-inspired illustrations nod to vintage actors like Bela Lugosi and Margaret Hamilton while injecting contemporary irony.
They’ve been repurposed as prints and greeting cards and were featured in the Atlantic Gallery’s Vignettes exhibition.
