Branding and trade design for a 12-issue anthology

The Challenge
Create a cohesive identity for a multi-artist anthology with a wide range of styles, while allowing each contributor’s work to remain the focal point.
Approach
Developed a flexible identity system that could unify the series without competing with the artwork.
Designed a logo to reflect the anthology’s mix of styles, and created trade packaging using a belly band to carry branding—keeping covers open for each artist’s work.
Maintained consistency across all issues while adapting to a rotating group of contributors and stories.
The Result
Delivered a cohesive, recognizable anthology spanning 12 issues, featuring 32 creators and 90 stories across 395 pages. The consistent identity supported sales, attracted new contributors, and established the series as a unified, evolving collection.
Also contributed original comics to every issue.
